Suggested Rune Prices

You can make a ton of money by making runes, and a good portion of the economy is motivated by the buying and selling of runes. To figure out a rune, you can use this formula:

1 mana = 2gp.

This is true because as of patch 1.2.4 mana runes will be 200 gp and give 100 mana. So, for example, take a UH rune.

UH Rune = 120 mana = 240gp.
10x 240 = 2.4k
2.4k x 2 = 4.8k
So, considering the mana for blanks and the cost of a backpack, you should be selling a bp of UH for around 5k.

List of suggested prices based on this formula:

BP of HMM = 4k
BP of Fireball = 4k
BP of IH = 4k
BP of UH = 4.8k
BP of GFB = 6.4k
BP of Explosion = 6.8k
BP of SD = 8.4k

I usually don't count the blank runes OR the backpack, as I make my own blank runes.. And a bp is only 20 gp, whats the use adding that into the price?

I think the 4.8k thing is not cool.. its easier to just go 4.5k or 5k...
Apparently ppl are buying UHs 5k a bp anyways so lowering them is kinda messed up.. :/

UH's were 4-5k. still are 4-5k, don't think it will change, unless player base gets bigger, and people start selling for less.

Basically, the prices are

BP of HMM = 4k

BP of Explosion = 6-7k
BP of SD = 8-10k

none of the .6, lmao, people will just round it off.
This is Tibia, not math class.

If a bp of UH costs 4k or 5k, the determining factor is whether or not the seller is feeling generous. Its really just a matter of preference.

Also, yes mana rune costs will go from 400 mana to 200 man, as well as 400 gp to 200 gp at the store.

I love how on this server runes are actually put into the economy and us mages can make a killing off of them. The formula you guys have and the prices you have for the runes are fair and I can't wait to start selling them!

I have seen players buy them for those prices. Its a little harder to sell than runes, but Im sure high level players don't like to mana sit much so they'll buy things like bolts of fire and flaming arrows, no doubt.

Really? I think it should be less for ammunition, I used 2 bps of piercing bolts in 2 days and that to buy back is 160k. thing is my profit was only 80k(about) and after that had to buy back my mana runes. =) Going to have to mana sit a while now.

Not all hunts should give profits. The best exp places shouldn't give profit in my eyes. Sometimes you have to hunt at places that gives less exp, but more (trash)loot and money so you can save up money for hunting those big monsters.

Ya thats a good point, takes a while to make ammunition for pallies though.

Can't wait for the new update because then I'll be able to easily sell my runes for the suggested prices due to the fact that Arn is making numerous changes so that runes can't be botted as much ^^
